History

The Vinings Historic Preservation Society is a great resource for all there is to know regarding some of the most notable structures, homes and neighborhoods in Vinings. One of the most popular attractions within the Preservation Society is the famed Pace House, which is considered an ideal location for weddings, parties and other special events.

Alongside the historical aspects of Vinings, there are several great retail centers that keep Vinings at the top of the list for best shopping destinations. From Cumberland Mall which houses a Macy’s, H&M and a Spa Sydell to the Vinings Jubilee which boasts retailers such as Banana Republic, Ann Taylor The Loft and Sandpiper. Outdoors
One of the best aspects of the Vinings area is its proximity to the Chattahoochee River, with its picturesque views and plethora of outdoor activities such as fishing, picnicking and hiking trails. The Silver Comet Trail is a 12.8 former rail trail that runs west and north through Georgia to Alabama and Tennessee.
